The wastewater at JER is very diverse and this posed some challenges during the start-up phase. They are now solved and the plant is running satisfactorily. The purified water can be reused and significantly less is disposed of. The municipality has made a few visits and taken samples and is very satisfied with the results.
After a trip through the evaporator, the purified water is so clean that it can be reused in the washing plant, which was not possible before.
