A promising start

ENVOTHERM was founded as Envotech on November 1, 1989. Shortly after, the name was changed to what we now know as ENVOTHERM. From the very beginning, the company has focused on innovative solutions in wastewater treatment and water recycling.

2008-2010

Digitization and Optimization

Envotherm introduces digitized service and support, optimizing operations for customers. Energy recovery becomes a key feature of Envotherm’s evaporation technology, ensuring low energy consumption and predictable costs.

Customers achieve annual savings of 35-50% on wastewater expenses by using wastewater treatment systems that reduce the need for external disposal.

International recognition

ENVOTHERM obtains ISO 9001 certification and is prequalified as a supplier under Achilles Utilities Nordics & Central Europe. In 2013, the company is nominated for the INSEAD New Business Award. The same year, the first ET500 evaporator is installed at Scan Bejds Steel A/S, which later expands with an ET1250. The company also wins an important contract in the USA, where the technology impresses the market.

Mike Oruska, the American customer, stated: “We are very impressed with the plant, the technology, the performance of the equipment, and the technical support.”

This highlights Envotherm’s ability to deliver on all key parameters, including energy consumption, purification intervals, and technical support. The evaporation system ensures efficient water treatment that meets high standards.

2020
Groundbreaking Wastewater Treatment

ENVOTHERM receives the DI SønderjyllandsInitiative Award for their energy-efficient wastewater treatment. The same year, Jysk Emballage Rens invests in an ET2500 evaporator after a successful testing period. The wastewater system enables the reuse of treated process water, reducing disposal costs and benefiting the environment.

Niels Meyland, Director of Jysk Emballage Rens, stated:

After leasing a system for six months, we decided to purchase an ET2500 evaporator. We highly recommend this solution to other industrial companies dealing with process and wastewater.

Part of the ANMASI Group

ENVOTHERM is acquired by Anmasi Group, but continues its operations in Vojens. Several former employees become part of the new team. The acquisition strengthens Anmasi Group’s position in industrial treatment and supports ongoing growth.

Jan Hedeby Sørensen, owner and CEO of Anmasi Group, views the acquisition as a strategic investment aimed at ensuring sustainable long-term growth for both companies. His goal is to expand ENVOTHERM’s market share both nationally and internationally and to continue developing innovative and energy-efficient solutions for wastewater treatment.

With a strong focus on technology and customized solutions, he aims to position ENVOTHERM as one of the leading players in evaporation systems and process water treatment.

A new future in Grindsted

ENVOTHERM’s production is moved to Grindsted and integrated with ANMASIs facilities. In the first two years following the acquisition, the company has achieved success in its primary markets in Denmark, Sweden, and Germany.

With the relocation, ENVOTHERM marks a new chapter in its development, maintaining a focus on efficient water treatment and wastewater reuse through innovative wastewater systems.
